Nice to see a few more people on the family list. So lets decide what to read for this month? I brought my copy of Gone with the wind but I'm guessing we are not going to read that any more since the manly man have spoken! I'm up for any book if the reader is a classic lets go for it!
Lets decide soon so that we can read this month's book and since feb is a short month we have less time!

I have an idea, Samina. Why not make this just a free-flowing bookclub. Everybody must pick a book to read for the month of Feb, but we don't all have to read the same thing. Once you're done, start a thread with your impressions and others who might already have read the book, just jump in and comment. We might end up having more than one thread going on a few books, but it will also make things more lively, if we wish for that to be the case. I say all this because I really do want to read Gone with the Wind. And Samina and I can discuss that, while you guys go on to read something else and discuss that.
ReplyDeleteActually that sounds like an better idea, that way if we can have several books discussion. I'll start reading Gone with the Wind, others can join us, but given that I'm on hoilday soon I might be able to get more reading done. SO lets start up with one books and see what everyone else is reading too.
ReplyDeleteI will read Gone with the Wind as well, because I've wanted to do so for some time now. I have a stressful few weeks coming up with midterms and what not, so I'll probably end up being a little behind everyne else. But we'll see how it goes!
